Travelling is one of my favorite things to do - one day I hope to visit every continent.

From an archaeological perspective, this course taught me how humans worked with the environment to create complex tools, structures, and civilizations. Learning was done through discussion posts, a Google Earth map, E-Timeline, quizzes, and slide presentations. We looked at specific case studies - such as Stonehenge and Catalhoyuk -in an attempt to understand how and why they were built. This course really provoked me to think about "What really makes us human?"

Independent Travels
One day I hope to visit every continent.
London, Paris, Florence, Rome
In 2010, the members of Girl Scout Troop 2050 were ambitious: we sought to one day visit the Girl Scout World Center of Pax Lodge in London, England. In 2013, after a lot of hard work and determination, we achieved our goal. Along the way, we also explored other corners of Europe and still hope to visit the remaining 4 World Centers.

South Korea & Japan
One of my goals is to visit every Disney theme park in the world. Here I am at Tokyo Disneyland.
My sister-in-law allowed me the opportunity to accompany her on a business trip to Seoul and Busan, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan. On our 10 day trip we explored the cities, tried local foods, and visited a few palaces and theme parks. It had been my dream since 8th grade to travel to South Korea, and I'd love to go back. There is still so much for me to explore in both countries and not enough time.

The Americas and more
Although I was born right in the middle of North and South America, there is much for me to explore. Here are a few photos of my adventures through the Americas.
